I had lunch with Roddy, the University of Denver photography professor and resident philosopher today. I presented him with the only first edition of my book, "The Journey Home, Returning to Chicago." He was properly impressed, especially after I autographed it for him. He even bought lunch. If I had that book back, I could retire today. In any case, Roddy begged me to include his photograph in this blog, so here it is. Not nearly as good a photo as one of Roddy's, but as you can tell, it is indeed Roddy.

Perfect exposure David. What great light and background color. You even managed to capture the angst on your fellow photographer's face, caused by his foolish decision to pay for lunch I suppose. Thanks for the great book David. If I put it on Ebay, maybe I will be able to retire. Next time we should get a burger!
