Friday was a very dreary, overcast day here in Denver, so I decided to go to the Denver Art Museum in the afternoon to cheer up. I found myself in the modern art wing, looking at a bronze sculpture of Vicki and Kent Logan, major patrons of the DAM (the Denver Art Museum) and the toast of Colorado society. As I looked at this sculpture by the artist George Condo, I had to ask myself: "Is that this guy's real name?" And if not, why didn't he choose something with a little more alliteration, such as Cary Co-Op or Tommy Townhouse? Questions to ponder for the ages. And who says this Blog doesn't have any intellectual content?
