It is almost May - if you haven't downloaded the Chicago Transit Authority Historical Calendar, why the hell not? It is free, and you can keep it on you computer or print it out to put on your wall. It has great photos that feature scenes from Chicago's past, such as the photo above, which shows a small business district just off Longwood Drive, in the South Side Beverly neighborhood, a few miles from where I grew up.
