Today was the deadline for textbook returns at the DU Bookstore. Last year on this day it was like a scene right out of "It's A Wonderful Life." The entire day resembled nothing so much as the bank run at George Bailey's Building and Loan Company. I remember Valarie and I counting down the last seconds until we could close the doors. Once closed, we danced around the store with the single remaining dollar bill we had sitting in the cash drawer. It was a very tramatic day. This year was not nearly as tramatic, but what fun is that?
