The Mozambique Corner


My friend Valarie's daughter, Cheyanne (third from the right in the photograph above), joined the Peace Corps this past fall and is now a teacher in Mozambique.  She first went to the town of Namaacha, in the southern part of the country, for training.  I am pretty sure that is where the well-known musical, "The Man of Namaacha,"  was set.  Regardless, she is now training teachers at a college in the Homoine District of Mozambique.  Plus, she now has her own blog:  http://timeinmozambique.blogspot.com.  You should definitely check it out.  Way to go Cheyanne!
