I visited with Joe, my friend and former University of Denver Bookstore co-worker, at the Art Student League of Denver's Summer Art Market yesterday afternoon. In addition to working at the bookstore, Joe teaches printmaking at ASLD, and is also a very talented artist. I took the photograph above of Joe in front of his booth at the art fair, which he has participated in now for over 25 years. The festival was canceled last year because of the pandemic, and delayed this year until August, but I am happy to report that it appears to be as popular as ever.
