The Cherry Creek Mall here in Denver is featuring "The Ice Palace," from the new Chronicles of Narnia movie, as the centerpiece of it's Christmas display. The display has posters advertising the movie everywhere, not to mention non-stop clips from the movie on numerous video monitors. Not only does the mall get a ready made theme for it's Christmas display, but it probably receives a sizable kickback for all the advertising. I'm not sure if this should be considered a further commercialization of Christmas or a complete sellout of the Christmas spirit. Happy Holidays!
