The headline in the DU Clarion says it all. Is it possible that the DU Bookstore will be outsourced, after being independently run by the University of Denver since 1864? Marty - the General Merchandise and Textbook Manager (pictured above) - made an impassioned plea to the Outsourcing Committee, along with the Bookstore Director, for the DU Bookstore to remain independent. I have told Marty several times now that if the DU Bookstore is truly outsourced, he should not feel guilty, even though it will all be his fault. Keep a stiff upper lip, Marty!
