Walking through the Denver Zoo Sunday morning, I ran across the monkey in the above photograph sitting by the door to his cage, his arms folded around him , trying to stay warm while waiting to be let in. Ironically, this is exactly what I used to do at my previous job, but they never let me in either. The monkey in this photograph was climbing up trees and along lengths of rope and was full of energy during the summer, but obviously does not like the cold. I am very surprised the zoo makes him remain outside in such chilly weather. Probably it is some sort of punishment, which I think was also the case where I used to work.
