A Visit With Doug

I stopped by the Wizard's Chest - located in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver - yesterday afternoon to visit with Doug, the DU Bookstore's textbook buyer and a magician at the Wizard's Chest on Saturdays. The winter quarter has just begun at DU, and so Doug has been working a lot of hours making sure all the textbooks are on the shelves.  Doug is pretty reticent about having his photograph taken these days, and so I am using a photograph I took of him and Marty, a former DU Bookstore textbook buyer, back when we all visited Paris many years ago.  Come to think of it, this photograph might have been taken during a different lifetime (maybe we should contact Shirley MacLaine about this).  Doug is on the left, wearing his Civil War era cap, and Marty, on the right, is wearing his cherished bowler hat.  The Eiffel Tower is under construction in the background.
