I stopped by the Denver Zoo Sunday morning to take a few photographs, and ran across the elephant in the above photograph using a large piece of tree limb to scratch with, play with, dig a hole with? Your guess is as good as mine. Personally, I think being locked up for so long finally got to him or her, and he/she doesn't really know what it's doing. I certainly hope the Denver Zoo retains a staff of animal psychologists to deal with issues such as these. Calling Dr. Doolittle...

Meanwhile, Back At The Zoo...
