Today was Darrel's last day at the DU Bookstore after 10 years as the Account's Payable Supervisor. Starting next week he will become the Budget Officer for the University of Denver's Chemistry Department, and so we had a potluck for him today in the Bookstore's break room. There was a lot of food, which is a good thing, since we had a lot of extra stockroom people working here this week. For as long as I have worked at the Bookstore - and we are talking 28 years now - I have found that the stockroom staff tends to eat like half starved wolverines.
