Carol is a friend of Joe (see previous blogs), and is working in the stockroom and on the sales floor this month and next, helping the DU Bookstore prepare for the first day of classes. Everyone has been impressed with how hard Carol works, and she hasn't made a single complaint concerning the stockroom's arctic temperature. As opposed to Maria, who beat Noah - the Stockroom Coordinator - mercilessly until he agreed to turn up the thermostat.
