I had lunch with Roddy, the University of Denver's photography professor, this afternoon. Roddy is doing well and is looking forward to a fall sabbatical, when he will begin working on a new photography project. I mentioned to Roddy that I too was considering a new photography project, which might involve a trip to the Philippines in the month of August. Roddy was very enthusiastic about this, telling me that Manila in August is an absolute paradise. There is no way that Roddy could be putting me on, right? Right?
