Stuart and I celebrated his new job tonight, after a long period of unemployment, at Jordan's, home of the imperial pint. Stuart and I have been friends since he worked for me at Hatch's Bookstore in the University Hills Shopping Mall in Denver. I remember a discussion once, when we both worked there, where he said "Hey, call me anything, call me Stinky if you want." Big mistake! From that moment on, Joanne, who also worked at Hatch's then, would say "Here comes Stinky and his Stinkmobile" whenever he would drive up. Ah, those were the days!
