Denver's pianos on the 16th Street Mall are still a popular attraction. People are always playing music on them, taking photographs of family and loved ones sitting by them, or just banging away on them willy-nilly. The latter activity has inspired the Denver city council to propose an ordinance that will allow people to be arrested and thrown in jail for 3 to 5 days if they don't actually know how to play them. Harsh but understandable.
