The USA Pro Cycling Challenge

I went downtown this afternoon to watch the conclusion of the USA Pro Cyclying Challenge in Denver. There were thosuands of people watching the event. Most of the people my age (younger middle age) were wearing their their Coors Classic T-shirts. I remember many years ago my brother-in-law took my sister and mother to see a Coors Classic event at the Tivoli. It was a very hot day, and the racers went around the Tivoli in the blazing heat again and again. When reminded, my mother remembered that day until the end of her life: the heat, the bicycles going around and around the Tivoli for what seemed like forever, the boredom. I am happy to report that bicycle racing hasn't changed a bit in 25 years.
