Derek has worked at the DU Bookstore for over a year now, and says that he enjoys it very much. However, he feels that at this point in his life he needs less stress, and therefore has decided to join the Marines and go to Afghanistan. Derek is looking forward to long hikes in the mountains, trying new exotic foods, and shopping in colorful bazaars and markets. It does sound a lot less stressful than the DU Bookstore!
