A Retraction

Astute readers of yesterday's Blog have pointed out to me that the gulf stream is actually thousands of miles away from Halifax, Nova Scotia and that it does indeed get a little chilly there in the wintertime.  Sorry about that.  I was confusing it with Bermuda.  In any case, Wally and Linda, I hope you haven't put down any money on a house there yet.  If so, definitely bring a jacket.
