Fenced In!

Or is it out?  No matter.  The barricades have gone up in front of my building, the Secret Service is doing its security sweeps, and tomorrow Barack Obama and Mitt Romney will face each other in 2012's first Presidential Debate at the University of Denver's Ritchie Center. In addition, DebateFest will also take place at DU, where 5,000 participants will watch the debate on a huge outdoor screen.  Over 3,000 journalists are expected on campus tomorrow.  In fact, a customer at the DU Bookstore - a second generation Swede - ran into a Swedish news team roaming around campus today and wound up giving them an interview in Swedish.  A Swedish news team?  Wandering around the DU campus? Does this sound like a boondoggle to you too?  Nice work if you can get it.
