Wally, my friend and colleague at the DU Bookstore, was called away from work last week to an emergency meeting of the Rocky Mountain Churchillians (www.winstonchurchillcolorado.org). The organization needed to finalize arrangements to bring Cita Stelzer, author of "Dinner With Churchill," to Denver to speak at one of their special events. Rumor has it that Mrs. Stelzer's next book will be titled "Churchill Cooks Italian." This could become an entire series of cookbooks. I asked Wally if there would be an open bar at the event, but evidently the organization has decided not to institute that crowd-pleasing policy. Then I say forget about it!
