David And Pat Are Back!

David (in the photograph on the left) and Pat (on the right) are back working at the DU Bookstore, helping us out during the start of the spring quarter.  The last time I spoke with Pat, she, her husband Bryan, and their kids were all going to the Denver Broncos - Baltimore Colts playoff game the next day.  I asked her how it went, and she said everyone had a great time up until the last few plays of the game, when the Broncos collapsed.  It was so depressing that she and Bryan briefly discussed getting rid of their season tickets.  That was of course just an initial reaction.  Pat is now very much looking forward to next season and says  "just wait until next year."  I hate to tell you this, Pat, but that is exactly what Cubs fans have been saying for over 100 years now.  Welcome aboard guys!
