Darrel, the former Accounts Payable Supervisor of the DU Bookstore and the current Budget Manager of the University of Denver's Chemistry Department, stopped into the Bookstore yesterday to make a purchase and say hello. Darrel and his wife Linda just got back from a week's vacation at the beach in Oceanside, California. Darrel says they had a great time, and could see themselves spending the winters out there in another few years. I can see them now, grabbing their surfboards and running into the ocean when the cry of "Surf's Up" echos across the beach. Which reminds me - when is Tristy, the former DU Bookstore Director and current Director of the Cal State Long Beach Bookstore, going to send us her surfing photographs to post on this Blog? America Is Waiting!
