Beer And Pizza With Wally And Linda

I had beer and pizza with my friend and DU Bookstore co-worker Wally and his wife Linda this past Saturday night.  We went to the Bonnie Brae Tavern, a local landmark that has been in business here in Denver for over 50 year. During dinner, someone stepped up to the microphone and announced that there were several all-stars from the University of Denver having dinner there tonight.  Wally and I both stood up to thank our hosts and wave to the crowd, but it turns out they were actually acknowledging several young gymnasts instead. Oh sure, still no recognition from the beer and pizza crowd.  Life is so unfair.
