Carol has been working at the University of Denver Bookstore now for the past two months, first in the stockroom helping to check in and stock textbooks, and then as a cashier on the sales floor during the first two weeks of classes. Since the "rush" period is over, today was Carol's last day at the store. Ordinarily she would be back helping us out in March, just before the start of the spring quarter, but now that the store will most likely be outsourced, it is uncertain whether we will be able to hire temporary employees anymore.
