John, my friend and colleague at the DU Bookstore, has dropped his calculus class and will have a lot of free time on his hands until he resumes his teacher education studies this summer. John plans to spend this time learning how to play the guitar. I suggested to him that once he masters the guitar, he should also learn to play the ukulele. A few years ago we had a group of employees at the store who started a ukulele band, and they would frequently serenade Bookstore employees in the store's breakroom. Eventually, however, they decided to disband. I guess fame and fortune just went to their heads. In any case, do consider putting the ukulele band back together, John. I hear there is a lot more money in that than teaching.
