Tis The Season

"Tis the Season to be Jolly," but exactly what season?  It is getting hard to tell what holiday is being celebrated these days.  The day after Halloween, most of the malls and department stores started promoting the upcoming holiday, but what holiday do they mean - Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, certainly not Christmas?  Evidently they do mean Christmas.  Next year the holiday decorations will probably go up right after the 4th of July.  It might be a good idea to beat the crowds and start shopping around Memorial Day, just to be safe. I'm certainly glad we have finally won the battle against the commercialization of Christmas. Way to go!
