Equal Time

Last week I featured a photograph of my sister Susan - at age one - and our Grandmother Spillard (my mother's mother), and felt it only fair that I post one of myself with my grandmother, too, taken back in the 1950s in front of our house in the South Side Chicago neighborhood of Brainerd.  As I recall, my Grandmother was training me for the Tour de France when this photograph was taken.  And in fact, I am still in training for that prestigious race, and feel I will be read for it soon.  Do you have to qualify for it, or can you just show up with your bike?
